Immersed in dance and music since childhood, Kaê Brown Carvalho was born into a family of artists, where he was introduced and trained in contemporary dance and capoeira. He later evolved into bboying alongside his groups Les Ratz and From Downtown. He quickly began traveling internationally for battles, both as a team and individually.
Marked by his cultural heritage, Kaê seeks authenticity, reinventing his movement with fluidity. Guided by instinct and feeling, he merges his Afro-descendant culture with that of hip-hop. His passion for movement research transcends cultural boundaries, personifying the freedom of gesture.
Kaê Brown Carvalho collaborates with Compagnie Ladaïnha, Compagnie Black Sheep with Saïdo Lehlouh and Johanna Faye, and in several projects of Coletivo FAIRE.
Currently, Kaê shares his vision through different media and projects, including as co-author of the play “Jogo de Dentro” with Jerson Diasonama and as co-organizer of “Vortex Jam”. He is also dedicated to transmitting his experience and knowledge within the Rennes hip-hop community, with his group “Les Ratz”.
