Musician, actor and radio presenter, Arrigo is one of the founders of Vanguarda Paulista in the 1980s. In 1980 he released “Clara Crocodilo”, a debut album that launched him into the constellation of renowned Brazilian artists.
With a background in architecture and music, throughout his career he developed a taste for image and video, which he combines with his music in a multimedia fusion, connecting the two artistic mediums for which he feels the most esteem and connection. It is this mixture that also gives character to the cacophony and twelve-tone sound that are characteristic of his composition and work.
A prolific composer, he has several soundtracks to his credit and a repertoire that ranges from sacred music to MPB, including Opera, a genre in which he writes “Édipo Rei” and “O Homem dos Crocodilos”. He is currently producer of the Supertônica program on Rádio Cultura Brasil and artistic director of Caravan Fronteria. In 2019 he published his first book, “No end of childhood”, published by Grafatório Edições.
