Paulo Braga is a renowned Brazilian pianist, composer and arranger with a diverse and impressive career in instrumental music. Born in Jundiaí, São Paulo, Braga graduated in piano from the Tatuí Conservatory, where he later created the Department of Popular Music in 1990.

Music Career

Acting as a Pianist

Paulo Braga has stood out in both popular and classical music. He has accompanied notable artists such as Milton Nascimento, Moacir Santos, Mônica Salmaso and Arrigo Barnabé. As a soloist, he has performed with the Orquestra Jazz Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra of London.

Composition and Recordings

Braga has released several albums throughout his career, including:

  • “Muita Hora Nessa Calma” (2010) – solo piano album

His most recent work, “Farol”, marks the first time he has formed a traditional jazz trio, collaborating with drummer Edu Ribeiro and bassist Bruno Migotto.
