Having drawing as his passion, an engineer by training, an artist by profession and soul, LEO began his career as an illustrator in 1981. In 1994 his dream came true and “La Catastrophe” was published, the 1st volume “Les Mondes d’Aldébaran” saga that takes us to a new world to be explored. With “Les Mondes d’Aldébaran” a new series of worlds emerges. After the initial saga, “Betelgeuse“, “Antares“, “Survivants“, “Retour sur Aldébaran“, “Neptune” and now “Belatrix” appear, each one being a new BD universe to be explored, with planets, fauna and flora endemic, unique creatures.

In addition to these creative universes, Leo is also a screenwriter. The universe of LEO’s comics and the characters that cohabit these worlds, often women with strong character, is an exploratory world where real issues emerge: political, societal, our relationship with the environment, as well as interpersonal relationships.

A reference in the world of comics, and a key figure in the revolution of French science fiction comics, LEO has more than 50 titles published in 9 languages and more than 4 million albums sold.
