Espetáculo criado, especialmente, para o Festival Travessuras Culturais 2023, com o Tema” Arte na Contestação”, coreografado por Michelle Caires e interpretado por dançarinos do grupo Artística –Artes Performativas da Calheta.
Michelle Caires, é formada em dança, pelo Conservatório Escola das Artes da Madeira e Centro Internacional de Jazz e dá aulas no Estúdio Artística –Estúdio de Artes Performativas da Calheta.
Neste espetáculo, os artistas resistem às opressões, transformando desafios em expressões de superação. A dança é a persistência em meio à opressão, uma resposta política à busca da liberdade através da arte, inspirando todos a resistir e persistir na luta por uma sociedade mais justa.

A performance created especially for the 2023 Cultural Pranks Festival, with the theme “Art in Protest,” choreographed by Michelle Caires and performed by dancers from the Artística -Performing Arts group in Calheta.
Michelle Caires is a dance graduate from the Conservatório Escola das Artes da Madeira and the International Jazz Center. She teaches at the Artística Studio –Performing Arts Studio in Calheta.
In this performance, the artists resist oppressions, transforming challenges into expressions of overcoming. The dance represents persistence amid oppression, a political response in the pursuit of freedom through art, inspiring everyone to resist and persist in the fight for a more just society.
